Video Editor (D2C specialist)

We are looking for a video editing specialist in D2C (direct-to-consumer) videos to join our creative team of editors, designers and a 3D artist. Our creative team is a high-impact group of talented artists who take great pride in what they create, and have the hunger to constantly outdo themselves, because creative work should be progressive

eCommerce is a developing industry which makes D2C branding and marketing is a developing niche. We want to be one of the globally recognised creative teams that knows how to connect with our audience- creating visuals that effectively convey branding and marketing messages. Collaborating with our marketing lead and media buying team, you will be responsible for producing D2C marketing and branding videos. These videos include sales-converting advertisements for our products, as well as videos that will encapsulate our identity, mission and initiatives.

Your day-to-day tasks include:

  • Conceptualising D2C video ideas
  • Work with marketing and media buying team to curate D2C video campaigns
  • Create a storyboard or a split script before shooting or editing
  • Edit videos for various online platforms
  • Research new editing styles and approaches that the team can utilize
  • Provide feedback towards other team members while also being open to constructive criticism

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Knowledge

  • Expert in at least 1 professional video editing software (E.g Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Expert in Adobe After Effects
  • Proficient in sound and music design
  • Proficient in typography motion graphic


  • Proficient in conceptualising and executing Direct-to-Consumer Ads
  • Proficient in conceptualising and executing to narrative videos
  • Storyboarding
  • D2C video script writing
  • High Proficiency in written English
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and able to display good judgement and decision-making
  • Able to solve problems creatively
  • Strong leadership and management skills with positive influence over others
  • Able to work autonomously and interdependently with the team without guidance or “hand holding”, yet not uncommunicative and operating in a silos


  • Experience in Direct-to-Consumer Ads to narrative videos
  • Experience in creating video content for various platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree


  • Successful sales conversion in D2C videos
  • Have work experience for D2C brand
  • Experience in a video producer role
  • Proficient in motion graphic
  • Self-starter. Have started personal projects and seen it to completion with relative success
  • Able to give and take feedback well
  • Does some form of exercise at least 3 times a week
  • Great leadership qualities
  • Remote working experience with a team
